The month of May!!!

Wow! What a month May was. This post will include a lot of pictures and a quick summary of all of the happenings in our lives.

First of all, John graduated. I can not believe four years has gone by here in Buffalo and he is a doctor. We are all so proud of him. He is so excited to begin his pediatric residency in KC.

A picture of the family after John graduated.

Jude is so proud of his daddy.

After graduation, we left our home in Buffalo for a few weeks. We journeyed to Arizona and Hawaii.

Here we are with my family just after arriving in Hawaii, this was the best graduation gift ever. Thank you mom and dad! We spent 10 days in Hawaii relaxing our days away while our boys played at home. We took a cruise around the islands, and stopped on 4 beautiful islands.

Here is the view of the Napali Coastline one evening on the ship. We enjoyed it from our ocean view balcony. It was so beautiful.

We enjoyed many fun trips and tours in Hawaii. Here we are kayaking down the Wailua river in Kauai. After kayaking we enjoyed a hike to a secret waterfall and went swimming.

Us girls were able to sneak away and go on a scenic helicopter tour over the island of Kauai. I think Kauai is the most beautiful island ever, and we enjoyed views that took my breath away. The best part of the trip!!

We had a blast learning more about the Polynesian islands, and enjoyed a luau and a fire dancing show at the Polynesian Cultural Center.

One night on the cruise ship, we cruised past one of the world's most active volcano's, Kilauea. It has been erupting since 1983. It was crazy to see the lava coming down and going into the ocean. ( the picture does not do it justice).

We were able to see one of the temples in Hawaii, on the big island.
Another highlight of our trip was our scuba/snorkel trip to Molokini Crater off the coast of Maui. The boys scuba dove while the girls snorkeled. All of the fish and sea turtles were amazing.

The boys had a blast. They saw lots of different types of sea life. Including several sharks!!!! Also, sea turtles, octopus, lobster, and beautiful coral arches.

Here we are showing off our matching bellies on the boat before snorkeling.

John and Nick were very adventurous and jumped off numerous waterfalls, and cliffs, including a random bridge jump in the beautiful rain forest.

We had a great time on the cruise. Then it was back to AZ for some more fun and sunshine.

My dad was involved in the ALS awareness day at the diamondback game again this year. He read the Lou Gerhrig retirement speech, so we are all able to support him down on the field and celebrate with him in a nice suite.

There he is on the jumbo tron, reciting the speech.

After Hawaii, we attempted to get some cute family pictures of the grand kids in their cute coordinating Hawaiian outfits.

We were in Arizona, when John's younger brother graduated High school. Way to go Jordan.

And now we are back in Buffalo, trying to enjoy every day we have left. In a week we are off on a little road trip up to Maine, and Cape cod, and then Kansas city here we come!! It is crazy to think our time in Buffalo is coming to a close.

Two of Jude's favorite things: being outside and the water.

Jude loves the water, so we is loving every minute of our days at Crystal Beach.

So, here we are in June. We are busy packing and anticipating the next step in our journey.

Spring time in Buffalo. . . Our last.

We have tried to get outside as much as we can when we are all home together. Jude loves to run around, chase birds, and tackle mommy and daddy. Here are a few shots of us enjoying our last spring here in Buffalo.

Jude showing off his cute little belly button.

One of my favorite pictures of daddy and Jude.

Instead of smelling the flowers, Jude was more interested in how they tasted.

And of course, here he is finding birds and pointing to them.

Trying to chase Mommy, while daddy snaps a shot!

Is this for REAL!?

Please meet the next member of our family. Jude will soon be a big brother. Jude will love his new baby SISTER more than anything. So let's pull out our hair bows, and pink dresses, and princess attitudes because we are having a girl!!

There is no denying that girl!

Check out that yawn!

Another cute profile shot!
We will welcome her in the middle of September!

Weekend Fun

This past weekend we had a great time. Friday night we took advantage of the wonderful babysitting swap group we are a part of and enjoyed a delicious dinner with some friends.
Saturday afternoon we went to a Buffalo Bisons baseball game with some friends celebrating Tyler's birthday. Although it was pretty cold outside we enjoyed the game and relaxing with some friends.

Here is Jude with a dirty face from snacking and a tear from the cold wind. Daddy tried to keep him warm, he was not interested in keeping his hat and mittens on.

Sunday afternoon Jude wanted to play outside, John took Jude outside and let him run around and play.

We are loving each weekend we have here in Buffalo, we just have a few left. Hopefully the weather warms up so we can enjoy some more of the buffalo sunshine.

Easter and Spring time in Buffalo

Happy Easter 2010.

This picture is priceless. Yes, the tradition continues. The dreaded pictures with the Easter bunny. Jude hated it. He was clinging on to me for dear life.

We had a few fun Easter weekend celebrations. We spent one afternoon at our friends the Phillips for a nice BBQ, and Easter egg hunt. They have a dog and Jude LOVES her, he always wanted to pet her, and she is so well behaved.

Jude on the hunt, trying to gather some eggs. He only lasted for a few eggs. He would find one egg, open it, eat the candy and then move on. He was a little distracted once he found the slide.

He LOVED the slide. We have to get one. He spent most of the afternoon going down the slide. I think his air Jordan's helped him go super fast!

When he was not on the slide, he was driving the car. ( have to get one of these too.)

After Jude enjoyed another little family Easter egg hunt Sunday morning, he was lead to what the Easter bunny left for him!

Swoosh! We enjoyed our Easter weekend.
It was nice to relax, enjoy conference and spend time together.

Here a few more random cute pics:

He loves shoes. He finds his shoes, and tries to put them on, then brings them to me for me to put them on him. He loves finding our shoes and trying them on. Here he is modeling my crocs!

Jude loves when John's friends come over. He loves men. He will sit on their lap and loves to play with them. Here he is fascinated with Josh's bubble gum. He kept trying to grab the bubble.

One more month until John graduates!!

One month plus one week until we are in Hawaii!!

Trip to Arizona

Okay, so the week after spring break we enjoyed a week down in AZ, soaking up the sun and hanging out with family. We had so much fun. Here are several pictures to wrap up our trip!

Jude loves sitting at tables now. He feels like such a big boy. Here he is with his little cousins at grandma's house eating lunch with grandpa.

Jude loved being outside. Everyday he was outside by 8am, and would play ALL day. It was beautiful weather, and he loved all the fun toys and his cousins to run around with.

A few of Jude's favorite things. He loved to play baseball, so he has a bat, a ball and course his milk. What more do you need!

Happy St. Patrick's day! We spent the day at the zoo! Jude loved all the animals.

Here is little Jackson. Dressed up in some St. Patty's gear and roller blading in his panties! What a life.

Here are the boys on grandpa's lap at the zoo. Grandpa's lap was much more fun than riding in a stroller.

We also went out to the renaissance festival for the day. It was awesome. We spent the day, shopping, eating, playing on rides, and watching lots of cool shows. Jude had so much fun. He spent the afternoon curled up on grandpa's lap.

Jude sure loved being so close to all of his cousins. He is a kisser. And loved giving kisses to everyone. Here he is kissing Jacob!

We had so much fun, but we missed daddy way too much!

Our little getaway

To start off John's Spring Break, we spent the weekend in Erie PA. We went to Splash Lagoon, an indoor water park. Sunday night we got to Erie and took Jude to Chuckie Cheese's to play. He loved it. He loved going down the slides, and "driving the cars," and of course the Basketball games. He would grab the balls, and if it wasn't his turn he would whine until he got a ball. He is definitely going to be a little sports fan.

The next day we went to the water park. It was an enjoyable day. Jude had so much fun, by the end of the day he was so exhausted. He loved going down the little slides, he loved the water falls, the steering wheels in the water, and the lazy river. We had so much fun together.
