Spring time in Buffalo. . . Our last.

We have tried to get outside as much as we can when we are all home together. Jude loves to run around, chase birds, and tackle mommy and daddy. Here are a few shots of us enjoying our last spring here in Buffalo.

Jude showing off his cute little belly button.

One of my favorite pictures of daddy and Jude.

Instead of smelling the flowers, Jude was more interested in how they tasted.

And of course, here he is finding birds and pointing to them.

Trying to chase Mommy, while daddy snaps a shot!

Is this for REAL!?

Please meet the next member of our family. Jude will soon be a big brother. Jude will love his new baby SISTER more than anything. So let's pull out our hair bows, and pink dresses, and princess attitudes because we are having a girl!!

There is no denying that girl!

Check out that yawn!

Another cute profile shot!
We will welcome her in the middle of September!

Weekend Fun

This past weekend we had a great time. Friday night we took advantage of the wonderful babysitting swap group we are a part of and enjoyed a delicious dinner with some friends.
Saturday afternoon we went to a Buffalo Bisons baseball game with some friends celebrating Tyler's birthday. Although it was pretty cold outside we enjoyed the game and relaxing with some friends.

Here is Jude with a dirty face from snacking and a tear from the cold wind. Daddy tried to keep him warm, he was not interested in keeping his hat and mittens on.

Sunday afternoon Jude wanted to play outside, John took Jude outside and let him run around and play.

We are loving each weekend we have here in Buffalo, we just have a few left. Hopefully the weather warms up so we can enjoy some more of the buffalo sunshine.

Easter and Spring time in Buffalo

Happy Easter 2010.

This picture is priceless. Yes, the tradition continues. The dreaded pictures with the Easter bunny. Jude hated it. He was clinging on to me for dear life.

We had a few fun Easter weekend celebrations. We spent one afternoon at our friends the Phillips for a nice BBQ, and Easter egg hunt. They have a dog and Jude LOVES her, he always wanted to pet her, and she is so well behaved.

Jude on the hunt, trying to gather some eggs. He only lasted for a few eggs. He would find one egg, open it, eat the candy and then move on. He was a little distracted once he found the slide.

He LOVED the slide. We have to get one. He spent most of the afternoon going down the slide. I think his air Jordan's helped him go super fast!

When he was not on the slide, he was driving the car. ( have to get one of these too.)

After Jude enjoyed another little family Easter egg hunt Sunday morning, he was lead to what the Easter bunny left for him!

Swoosh! We enjoyed our Easter weekend.
It was nice to relax, enjoy conference and spend time together.

Here a few more random cute pics:

He loves shoes. He finds his shoes, and tries to put them on, then brings them to me for me to put them on him. He loves finding our shoes and trying them on. Here he is modeling my crocs!

Jude loves when John's friends come over. He loves men. He will sit on their lap and loves to play with them. Here he is fascinated with Josh's bubble gum. He kept trying to grab the bubble.

One more month until John graduates!!

One month plus one week until we are in Hawaii!!

Trip to Arizona

Okay, so the week after spring break we enjoyed a week down in AZ, soaking up the sun and hanging out with family. We had so much fun. Here are several pictures to wrap up our trip!

Jude loves sitting at tables now. He feels like such a big boy. Here he is with his little cousins at grandma's house eating lunch with grandpa.

Jude loved being outside. Everyday he was outside by 8am, and would play ALL day. It was beautiful weather, and he loved all the fun toys and his cousins to run around with.

A few of Jude's favorite things. He loved to play baseball, so he has a bat, a ball and course his milk. What more do you need!

Happy St. Patrick's day! We spent the day at the zoo! Jude loved all the animals.

Here is little Jackson. Dressed up in some St. Patty's gear and roller blading in his panties! What a life.

Here are the boys on grandpa's lap at the zoo. Grandpa's lap was much more fun than riding in a stroller.

We also went out to the renaissance festival for the day. It was awesome. We spent the day, shopping, eating, playing on rides, and watching lots of cool shows. Jude had so much fun. He spent the afternoon curled up on grandpa's lap.

Jude sure loved being so close to all of his cousins. He is a kisser. And loved giving kisses to everyone. Here he is kissing Jacob!

We had so much fun, but we missed daddy way too much!

Our little getaway

To start off John's Spring Break, we spent the weekend in Erie PA. We went to Splash Lagoon, an indoor water park. Sunday night we got to Erie and took Jude to Chuckie Cheese's to play. He loved it. He loved going down the slides, and "driving the cars," and of course the Basketball games. He would grab the balls, and if it wasn't his turn he would whine until he got a ball. He is definitely going to be a little sports fan.

The next day we went to the water park. It was an enjoyable day. Jude had so much fun, by the end of the day he was so exhausted. He loved going down the little slides, he loved the water falls, the steering wheels in the water, and the lazy river. We had so much fun together.

Sledding Saturday

On Saturday John and I took Jude to a nearby sledding hill, along with some friends. We spent the morning in the snow, sledding and throwing snow balls. This was Jude's first experience sledding and playing in the snow. It took him a little while to get used to it, but after a while he was walking around, and he loved the snow ball fights. As far as the sledding went, well he did not like being on the sled by himself, so mommy or daddy took him down, and I think he liked it?! No smiles, but no cries.

Needless to say, we had a great day in the snow!!

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar??

Hummm. . . It sure smells good in here. I think mommy made some yummy treats. I am going to climb up on my stool and check it out. Hummm. . . here is a bag full of homemade chocolate chip cookies. Reaching. . . .

Got it! Mom is on the phone, and not even looking. SWEET.

Dang it! I should have stayed in the kitchen to eat my treat. I got caught.

Mommy, don't I deserve a little cookie. . . .

Match Day results

Match day was yesterday! It was a wonderful day. After a horrible night's sleep we woke up, and kept checking John's email every five minutes.. . . Then it came, like at 8:35am. We gathered ourselves together, and took a deep breath and checked it!
The email stated that John matched to:

Children's Mercy Hospital!!!

Yeah! We celebrated the great news with family and it took it a minute to sink in , wait,

That is in Kansas City Missouri!!

Yep, so we are moving. John starts the first of July. We could not be more excited. It is a great program, his time will be spent in the hospital not in the classroom, and we get a decent stipend.

I am so proud of John and all of his hard work.

Here is a picture of Kansas City!

Here is the hospital John will be working at.

His new stool

Jude loves his stool he got for his birthday.
He loves to climb up and reach anything on the counter or in the sink.
Whenever I am in the kitchen, he runs in, climbs up on his stool, and tries to help me.

So cute.

Holidays in beautiful Arizona

After we returned from Puerto Rico, I went home to Arizona where I spent the next few weeks with my family. My sister and her boys were there with my parents and we had so much fun together. John joined us after he finished up the boards and school, and we spent Christmas and the New Year with our families. We enjoyed spending time together, and the beautiful weather.

Here is John teaching Jude how to swing that bat on a sweet toy that my parents got.

We had so much fun. My parents house was a crazy one. Those 4 boys are full of energy. Bath time was great. All four boys in the tub was so funny. ( Jackson is hiding behind Jude)

December 14th- The first cut.

The finished product. Look at that little spiky hair cut. It is so cute, we love it.

Here is Jacob. He loved putting on Grandpa's reading glasses.

We did a little belated birthday party for Jude with my family. It was a fish party, and here we are going fishing.

We went to a Santa party with family friends. Before the party, there was a historic firetruck that we were invited to go see, the kids could get in and run around on it. It was awesome. Here is Jude driving.

Here we are on top, waving with Caden close by.

And here is Jude at the Santa party. You can see how happy he was to sit on Santa's lap. This party is amazing- it is the REAL santa, and check out his elf. I remember him when we started going when I was like 5, and now Jude is here. It is cool.

Our family playing out the nativity. We have the angel ( me of course, ha ha), a little shepherd and John as a wise man. We played out the nativity with family and friends at the Hunter's Christmas party. ( My sister's husband's family)

Here we are on Christmas Eve with the whole family. Here we are with our matching Pj's. We were all excited with our "workout" pj's instead of matching striped footie pj's.

The four boys on Christmas day, wearing their personalized superhero capes I made.

Here is our Superhero! Jude, we love you.

Jude playing with his wooden train set at Grandma Taylor's house.

Buzz Lightyear trying to help daddy paint the bathroom.

And of course our little boy posing with daddy when we went out shooting.

We had such a great time in Arizona. We enjoyed all our favorite restaurants, spending a day at Crackerjax- playing miniature golf, go karts and bumper boats, seeing a live musical frosty the snowman play, going to the beautiful mesa temple a few times and we even snuck out and did a little snowboarding.

Now we are back to Buffalo, back to real life, and freezing in the snow!!
